3. May 24,  · Yesterday my friends Hanspostcard and Dave featured The Who's Tommy's 50th anniversary. I missed out on that so I picked one of my favorite songs off of the Tommy album. Pete Townsend said this song's message is "we're not gonna take fascism." I've never been a big Woodstock fan but there were a few great performances there..

6. ‘See Me, Feel Me’ is, in a way, the invisible Who classic, because it’s not identified by that title in its original form, as part of the Tommy album’s final song ‘We’re Not Gonna Take.

Tommy contains the hit singles 'Pinball Wizard' and 'See Me, Feel Me' (although the latter wasn't released in that format in the UK), but as a double-album Tommy found the group shearing away from the pop mainstream in order to create a more serious type of pop-art music. Although it is humorous and absurd in places, some of the subject matter is dark in the extreme.
